The Role

You'll be carrying out electrical repairs, maintenance and installations across occupied residential properties, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Your duties will include

  • Electrical testing and inspection
  • Fault finding and reactive repairs
  • Full and partial rewires
  • Kitchen and bathroom electrical installations
  • Installation of domestic heating controls and systems
  • Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults
  • Completing emergency call‑outs when required
  • Maintaining accurate job records, including photographs where needed
  • Following health & safety procedures and safe working practices
  • Providing excellent customer service while working in residents' homes

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is reliable, customer‑focused and takes pride in delivering quality workmanship.

You’ll ideally have

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent) Testing & Inspection qualification
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Previous experience within social housing, domestic maintenance or property repairs
  • Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills
  • A professional and respectful approach when working in customers' homes

A CSCS card is beneficial but not essential.

A DBS check will be required before employment.
