You'll be at the heart of the operation, helping customers with enquiries, coordinating engineer visits, following up on outstanding issues and making sure problems are dealt with quickly and professionally.

What will you be doing?
Your day will be varied, with responsibilities including
- Handling inbound calls and emails from customers regarding services, appointments, faults and general enquiries
- Supporting engineers in the field by coordinating visits, passing on information and helping resolve customer issues
- Booking, rearranging and confirming engineer appointments
- Dealing with potentially urgent or time-sensitive issues calmly and ensuring they are escalated appropriately
- Accurately updating customer records, job information and communications on internal systems
- Chasing outstanding jobs, engineer updates and customer queries to make sure nothing gets missed
- Handling frustrated customers professionally, listening to their concerns and taking ownership of finding a solution
- Working closely with engineers, account handlers and internal teams to keep jobs moving
- Learning the company's products, services, procedures and industry requirements

You might already have experience as a

- Customer Support Advisor
Experience in a technical, engineering, facilities, maintenance or field-service environment would be a bonus, but it's not essential.
Most importantly, you'll need
- Excellent telephone and communication skills
- A calm and professional approach when dealing with difficult or unhappy customers
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Good IT skills and confidence using multiple systems
- The ability to prioritise and manage several enquiries at once
