We are seeking a Junior Sprinkler Design Engineer to join our growing fire protection team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with good CAD skills and existing fire sprinkler knowledge to develop their career in sprinkler system design. You will work alongside experienced engineers to produce compliant fire sprinkler designs across a range of commercial and residential projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design of automatic fire sprinkler systems (wet, dry, pre-action, etc.)
- Produce 2D CAD drawings using AutoCAD / Revit
- Support hydraulic calculations using specialist software
- Coordinate sprinkler layouts with other building services
- Attend design meetings and occasional site visits
- Ensure designs comply with BS EN 12845 / BS 9251 standards
- Work with project teams to deliver designs on time and to specification
