This is a hands-on building maintenance supervisor role where you inspect properties for issues like damp and mould, organise and oversee repair work, manage workers and contractors, and make sure jobs are completed safely, properly, and on budget.

Required:

  • NVQ Level 4+ or equivalent in Construction/Building Studies.
  • Relevant damp & timber qualifications/certifications desirable.
  • Experience in a similar role within the social housing industry.

Key Supervisor Responsibilities:

  • Conduct building inspections and technical surveys.
  • Diagnose defects including damp, mould, and disrepair issues.
  • Prepare clear reports and remedial work specifications.
  • Manage repair and refurbishment works through to completion.
