Warehouse and Production Operative

Please note that you would work for the first 12-13 weeks on a temporary basis; however, you will remain after this period on a permanent basis.

Location: Portsmouth

Salary: £12.50 per hour

Hours: 40 hours per week: Monday - Thursday, 7am to 4pm (with a 30-minute unpaid lunch), and Friday 7am to 1pm, totalling 40 hours per week.

Dynamite Recruitment is working in partnership with a very well-established business who are based in Portsmouth. We have a new opportunity for a Warehouse and Production Operative to join our team on a temp to permanent basis. This is a varied, hands-on role.

Part of the job will involve helping with the production of display boards. This includes cutting products, fixing them to display boards, and grouting the finished boards. You do not need to be a qualified tiler/cutter, but you should be practical, comfortable using basic tools, and confident with DIY-type work.

As the display work will not take up all of your time, you will also be expected to support in the warehouse. Duties will include:

  • Picking orders
  • Unloading containers
  • Stock rotation
  • General warehouse tasks as required

We are looking for someone who is reliable, hard-working, and physically fit, as the role involves manual handling. This would suit someone with previous experience in a warehouse, practical and happy to turn their hand to different tasks when needed.
