Lead Electrician Experienced Electrician - Fault finding, Maintenance, and Minor installs work £47,000+ | Company Van with personal use | Healthcare Sector | This Lead Electrician opportunity is to work for a business with over 120 field based staff, plus office support employees.
Specifically, they have around 20 Electricians, and are in need of an additional senior electrician who can bring experience within the commercial fault finding world, to handling sometimes complex electrical work, and support more junior Electricians.
We're reasonably flexible on your location, as work is on average booked to be within around 30 mins from where you're based.
Travel is paid at normal rate when exceeding 30 miles each way.
This is a mobile role, so you'll work from your van using an electronic job management system rather than travelling into the office every day.
Why Electricians like working here: Call out rota only 1 week in every 18 , with a £145 standby payment plus door to door double time pay when called out.
Shifts are often swapped, so there is the option to do more or less - Although technically mandatory.
Any call outs on bank holidays completed, will result in an additional days annual leave added. 7:30am - 4:00pm working day.
Allowances to flex on this when a site is further out can be made.
And when overtime is taken you can chose to take pay or to take time in loo.
Modern company vans (with optional personal use).
Enhanced company sick pay – following the initial qualifying period, you'll receive up to 6 weeks' full pay, followed by a further 6 weeks' half pay.
