Working in the role
Based in the Kent office, you’ll be a key part of the design team. Your day-to-day will include:
- Producing design packages (cable calculations, schematics, layouts, specifications)
- Designing systems like lighting, power distribution, fire alarms, and security
- Coordinating your designs into CAD drawings
- Collaborating with other disciplines and supporting estimators when needed
- Attending client meetings and offering technical input
- Staying on top of evolving regulations and technologies
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in electrical design for residential building services (2D)
- Must be commutable to the Kent office
- Strong knowledge of cable calculations, schematics, and UK regulations
- Confident, proactive, and able to work independently
- Revit experience is a bonus (but not essential — they’ve got that covered!)
