Dynamite Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a well-established business based in the Southampton area. Due to continued growth, our client is looking for a practical, hands-on Mechanical / Electrical Tester Warehouse Operative to join their busy team. This is a varied role that combines warehouse operations, equipment testing and light engineering modifications. You'll play a key role in ensuring all equipment is tested, prepared, modified where required, and ready for dispatch to the highest standards.
This position would suit someone with experience within engineering, electrical manufacturing, technical assembly, maintenance, or a similar environment. You'll be comfortable testing mechanical and electrical equipment before it is supplied to customers, while also supporting day-to-day warehouse activities.
Warehouse Operative Duties
- Safely load and unload deliveries
- Operate a forklift truck (if licensed)
- Receive, unpack and inspect incoming stock
- Organise and maintain warehouse stock
