About the Role
Dynamite Recruitment is currently working in partnership with a well-established business who are based in the Southampton area. Our client is looking for a practical, hands-on Mechanical / Electrical tester who can support in a busy warehouse and join a growing team. This is a varied role combining warehouse operations, equipment testing, and light engineering modifications. You will play a key role in ensuring all equipment is prepared, tested, modified where required, and ready for dispatch to the highest standards.
This position would suit someone with experience in engineering, electrical manufacturing, or a technical environment who is happy to test mechanical and electrical equipment prior to it going to customers, however also support in a busy warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
- Warehouse Operations
- Safely load and unload goods
- Operate a forklift truck - IF you have a licence
- Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming stock
- Organise and maintain warehouse storage areas
