Dynamite Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Bookkeeper to join an established finance team based in East Grinstead on a permanent basis. This is a hands‑on role suited to an experienced bookkeeper with strong Sage Line 50 experience and is confident managing day-to-day accounts across multiple entities through to trial balance.

The Bookkeeper Role:
- Managing sales and purchase ledgers, including processing invoices and chasing outstanding debts
- Producing monthly management reports and profit & loss summaries
- Completing daily bank, credit card and supplier statement reconciliations
- Preparing accounts through to trial balance for year-end review
- Supporting or managing monthly payroll processing and pension contributions
- Preparing and submitting quarterly VAT returns via Sage in line with Making Tax Digital requirements
- Producing CIS returns
- Maintaining accurate financial records using Sage Line 50
The Ideal Bookkeeper Candidate:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Confident managing accounts through to trial balance
- Ideally AAT Level 4 qualified but would consider QBE
- Strong Excel skills with good analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach
- Able to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
