Bookkeeper in Dormansland

Dynamite Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Bookkeeper to join an established finance team based in East Grinstead on a permanent basis. This is a hands-on role suited to an experienced bookkeeper with strong Sage Line 50 experience and is confident managing day-to-day accounts across multiple entities through to trial balance.

The Bookkeeper Role:

• Managing sales and purchase ledgers, including processing invoices and chasing outstanding debts
• Producing monthly management reports and profit & loss summaries
• Completing daily bank, credit card and supplier statement reconciliations
• Preparing accounts through to trial balance for year-end review
• Supporting or managing monthly payroll processing and pension contributions
• Preparing and submitting quarterly VAT returns via Sage in line with Making Tax Digital requirements
• Producing CIS returns
• Maintaining accurate financial records using Sage Line 50

The Ideal Bookkeeper Candidate:

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Confident managing accounts through to trial balance xgikmsk
• Ideally AAT Level 4 qualified but would consider QBE
• Strong Excel skills with good analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach
• Able to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
