Dynamite Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join an SME business based in Andover on a permanent basis. This is a varied part-time opportunity within a small and supportive finance team, with payroll as the primary focus alongside some wider administrative responsibilities.

Benefits:

  • Salary up to Β£33,500 FTE, depending on experience and skills
  • Part-time hours – Monday to Friday, flexible working hours can be discussed (27.5hr per week)
  • 20 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays, increasing to 25 days over time

The Payroll Administrator Role:

  • Take responsibility for the accurate and timely processing of payroll
  • Review and reconcile timesheets, overtime, commission and other payroll information
  • Maintain accurate employee payroll records and deal with payroll-related queries professionally
  • Ensure all relevant payroll information is prepared and processed within required deadlines
  • Investigate discrepancies and ensure any payroll queries are resolved promptly
  • Provide support with wider finance and administrative duties when required
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the business to ensure smooth day-to-day operations

The Ideal Payroll Administrator Candidate:

  • Previous experience working within a similar position
  • Good understanding of payroll processes and associated administration
  • Excellent attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy
  • Strong communication and ability to manage multiple priorities and working to deadlines
  • A flexible and proactive approach, with a willingness to support the wider team
