Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Officer to establish, maintain, and continuously improve our Integrated Management System (IMS) in accordance with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 27001:2022, and AS9120B requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring ongoing certification compliance, conducting internal audits, managing corrective actions, and supporting customer, certification, and supplier audits.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Management System (QMS) documentation.
- Maintain and improve the Information Security Management System (ISMS) in accordance with ISO 27001:2022.
- Ensure continued compliance with AS9120B requirements for aerospace distribution.
- Prepare the organization for certification, surveillance, and recertification audits.
- Plan and conduct internal audits across all departments.
- Manage corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) through to closure.
- Perform root cause analysis using recognised quality tools.
- Monitor quality objectives, KPIs, and management review activities.
- Maintain document control and revision management.
- Prepare quality reports and compliance dashboards for senior management.
- Coordinate supplier qualification, supplier audits, and supplier performance monitoring.
- Ensure traceability and conformity of aerospace products and documentation.
- Review Certificates of Conformity (CoC), inspection reports, and quality records.
- Conduct employee training and awareness programmes relating to quality and information security.
- Liaise with certification bodies, customers, and regulatory authorities.
- Support customer quality questionnaires, vendor registrations, and compliance documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- 3-7 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Management.
- Experience implementing or maintaining ISO 9001:2015.
- Working knowledge of ISO 27001:2022.
- Experience with AS9120B or AS9100 in the aerospace industry is highly desirable.
- Internal Auditor certification for ISO 9001 and/or ISO 27001 preferred.
- Knowledge of risk management, process improvement, and continual improvement methodologies.
- Strong understanding of document control and quality records management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
