Fireblocks is seeking a highly motivated and flexible legal professional to work collaboratively with the in-house legal team and our sales organisation. You will work closely with your legal colleagues to efficiently drive complex contract negotiations to closure. This will include project-managing the legal elements of significant revenue-generating opportunities, engaging relevant functional stakeholders and assisting with drafting the relevant contract documents. In this role, you will also help the legal team with its AI initiatives, template management, contract management tools, and the delivery of advice on various legal risks related to Fireblocks' general operations and its range of offerings.

This role is based in London and reports directly to the Senior Legal Counsel, EMEA. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter and an efficient multi-tasker with an adaptable approach to problem-solving. You will work with business partners in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, driving meaningful impact.

You’ll be:

  • Focused on some of our largest commercial transactions supporting our SaaS services.
  • Taking the lead in coordinating negotiations on a wide variety of contracts, including strategic license agreements and services agreements.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive opportunities to closure.
  • Developing and refining processes to drive efficiencies between the legal and cross-functional teams throughout the deal cycle.
  • Creating templates and advising on implementation.
  • Driving efficiencies through the effective use of AI tools.
  • Learning new technologies, products and practice areas without much precedence.

You'll bring:

  • Strong foundational knowledge of commercial contracting and legal concepts.
  • Experience working at a technology company, preferably with a SaaS or software offering and/or at a top-tier law firm within a technology practice.
  • Background in financial services, fintech, blockchain, cybersecurity, or crypto industry.
  • A qualified practising lawyer is not required for this role, though candidates ranging from trainee paralegals up to newly qualified lawyers will be considered.
  • Experience as a team player who enjoys partnering with cross-functional teams to solve issues and work collaboratively to generate consensus across diverse points of view.
  • Experience negotiating complex technology transactions on a global basis.
  • Fastidious attention to detail in both oral and written communications.

Qualifications:

  • A university degree is required or a GDL or JD, plus paralegal certification (CILEX, NALP, or ILSPA), is a strong plus.
