The successful candidate will bring a wealth of experience across diverse therapy areas, gained within digital, strategic consulting, or marketing communications agencies. You’ve developed comprehensive strategies for healthcare professionals, patients, and other stakeholders, leveraging a range of channels, media, and touchpoints.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Work closely with senior stakeholders, agency partners, and external experts to drive alignment and strategy
- Articulate various types of brand and business strategies, selecting the most appropriate approach for each situation
- Create high-level business models or value propositions tailored to client needs or specific projects
- Develop comprehensive annual brand plans and translate them into actionable steps that deliver measurable business outcomes
- Lead workshops for global and regional stakeholders, both in-person and virtually, to drive strategic clarity, alignment, and engagement
- Stay informed on client and competitor activities, market trends, mergers and acquisitions, new product launches, brand performance metrics, and market financial reports
- Design and implement omnichannel engagement strategies, including audience definition, customer journey mapping, identifying critical touchpoints, and integrating insights into channel and content plans
- Demonstrate a passion for helping healthcare brands deliver greater value and improved experiences to their audiences
- Apply a deep understanding of quantitative and qualitative research techniques to inform strategic decisions
- Evaluate and utilise existing customer and brand research, including segmentation data, to identify actionable insights
- Stay knowledgeable about current and emerging practices, trends, and information affecting the business landscape, including competitive insights
- Deliver high-quality interpretations of existing or new research findings promptly
- Develop effective briefs for ideas across channels, media, touchpoints, and creative disciplines (e.g., advertising, CX, social media)
- Lead the creation of comprehensive digital and brand experience strategies that span beyond individual campaigns or projects
- Integrate offline and online business, experience, and campaign elements seamlessly
- Explore and develop diverse creative territories, briefing teams effectively to bring them to life
- Incorporate channel and technology considerations into creative strategies effortlessly
- Provide constructive feedback and facilitate creative workshops to refine and enhance ideas
- Craft and present persuasive narratives to clients, ensuring ideas are sold effectively in meetings and pitches
- Support or lead the creation of proof-of-concept initiatives to secure stakeholder buy-in.
- Validate and adapt ideas to ensure meaningful brand and business impact
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to roadmap practical phases for campaigns, projects, or products
- Create detailed strategies tailored to specific disciplines and initiatives
- Apply service design thinking to deliver holistic service/experience blueprints for brands and businesses
- Define KPI frameworks that align with clear business and brand objectives
- Distinguish between valuable and irrelevant data, helping clients understand its significance.
- Develop effectiveness case studies for senior client communication, new business opportunities, or award submissions
Requirements:
- Demonstrated success and a proven track record in the healthcare sector
- Significant experience in a strategic marketing role within a healthcare agency setting
- Deep understanding of core marketing principles, including target segmentation, category insights, value proposition development, positioning, and brand strategy
- Extensive experience in defining, communicating, and executing digital strategies, leveraging a diverse range of planning skills
- Strong experience in senior client-facing roles, fostering trust and long-term relationships
- Significant experience in a strategic marketing role within a healthcare agency setting
- Proven ability to work within integrated, multi-agency teams to deliver cohesive outcomes
- Strong understanding of digital ecosystems and their impact on strategy
- Solid grasp of experience design, user experience (UX), and service design principles
