This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing, independent medical education provider, delivering globally recognised CME/IME-accredited programmes across a range of high-impact therapy areas.
As a Senior Medical Writer, you will take ownership of scientific content development across multiple projects, working closely with international faculty and key opinion leaders. This role offers strong exposure to strategic programme development, with the opportunity to shape educational content that directly impacts clinical practice.
You’ll be joining a dynamic, agile team environment, where individuals are given real ownership, visibility, and the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing growth and evolution of the business.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Scientific Content Leadership: Lead development of high-quality CME/IME educational content across multiple therapy areas; Own scientific narratives across symposia, digital learning, and enduring materials; Translate complex clinical data into clear, engaging educational content.
- Faculty & Client Collaboration: Work closely with KOLs and international faculty to develop presentations and materials; Support the creation of learning objectives, agendas, and educational frameworks; Contribute to discussions shaping programme direction and content.
- Project Ownership & Delivery: Manage multiple projects from concept through to delivery; Adapt content across live, digital, and on-demand formats; Ensure all materials meet accreditation and compliance standards.
- Strategic & Analytical Contribution: Contribute to proposal development and programme design; Support outcomes reporting by interpreting data and educational impact; Provide insight to improve content effectiveness and engagement.
Requirements:
- Advanced degree in life sciences (PhD, PharmD, MSc, or equivalent).
- 4–7 years’ experience in medical writing (CME/IME or medical communications).
- Strong ability to interpret and communicate complex scientific data.
- Experience working with KOLs and faculty.
- Excellent writing, communication, and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for meetings and events.
