The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a range of projects across the full spectrum of medical communications activities, including congress activities, training materials, websites, and digital apps.

Roles & Responsibilities:- Provide scientific counsel on accounts, challenging and supporting their scientific strategy and acting as a source of advice for members of the team across all departments.
- Develop high-quality strategically sound, scientific materials.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of assigned products, related medical areas, and competitors.
- Engage and educate the team on how a clear scientific strategy can enhance the quality of delivery to clients.
- Implement and monitor team processes that ensure the production of high-quality outputs that are on-brief and meet client expectations.
- Maintain a fully resourced editorial and medical writing team and input on recruitment decisions that will drive and support the growth of our business opportunities.
- Lead scientific discussions with clients.
- Take responsibility for leading scientific strategy development with new clients, aiding with the identification of their business needs and communications requirements.
- Manage and oversee the work of junior members of the team and work with the leadership team to develop performance plans for the team.
- Work collaboratively with the commercial team to provide strategic scientific support for the development of proposals/pitches and participate in new business pitch presentations.
- Proactively identify new business opportunities by researching therapy area developments and product pipelines.
- Degree (science, preferably life science); PhD or MSc (desirable).
- Scientific knowledge and understanding.
- High level of drive, motivation, and initiative.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Aware of industry guidelines and best practice and their application.
- Significant experience working in Medical Communications (agency).
- Hybrid working with 3 days in office (Central London).
