We are working on behalf of a highly respected Aerospace product manufacturer and currently have an exciting opportunity for a Trimmer based at their site in Long Eaton, Derbyshire.
Trimmer (Permanent, Full Time)
Starting pay rate is £13.08 per hour.
Pay rate will increase with ability/experience.
We are looking for individuals to join our clients Trimming/Inspection department.
No previous experience required although experience in high dexterity fields/activities including hairdressing, needlework, model painting, etc. may be beneficial.
Good hand skills/dexterity is essential for this position.
Duties Include
- Finishing products by removing flash, feeders, etc.
- Checking finished products for potential quality issues.
- Packing products to customer requirements.
- Ensuring relevant paperwork is signed and completed.
Benefits
- 30 days paid annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays).
- Overtime available at time and a half (subject to workload).
- Immediate start.
- No weekends.
- 9-day fortnight – with flexible start and end times – a typical example is:
Week 1 – Monday – Thursday 6:30am – 4:00pm, Friday 6:30am – 3:00pm Week 2 – Monday – Thursday 6:30am – 4:00pm, Friday – off
