The Role
As a Senior Network Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting and enhancing customer enterprise networking environments. Acting as a senior technical escalation point, you will lead on troubleshooting, remediation, and continuous improvement of complex networking and security solutions. You will also provide technical leadership and guidance within the team.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Managing and troubleshooting complex customer network environments
- Acting as a senior escalation point across Enterprise networking and security issues
- Supporting major incidents and leading technical resolution
- Acting as a key technical contact for client stakeholders
- Supporting solution improvements and optimisation
- Keeping up to date with the latest trends and advancements in networking technologies
Skills and Experience Required
- 5+ years experience working in Managed Services
- Strong experience supporting Enterprise LAN, Data Centre, and SD-WAN environments
- CCNP certification (or equivalent experience) required
- Experience working with one or more of the latest Cisco technologies such as:
- FirePOWER
- DNAC
- ISE
- SD-Access
- ACI / Nexus Dashboard
- Catalyst (Exposure preferred but not essential if strong Enterprise Networking experience is demonstrated)
