Key Responsibilities:- Team Leadership & Management: Lead, motivate, and mentor a diverse team of Professional Services and Managed Services Engineers. Manage team performance, ensuring high utilization rates without compromising service quality. Foster professional development and create a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Service Delivery Excellence: Oversee end-to-end service delivery, ensuring timely and high-quality execution of projects and ongoing services. Maintain operational alignment with client needs and business objectives.
- Strategic Operations Management: Define and implement operational strategies to enhance engineer utilization and overall service efficiency. Collaborate with senior leadership to align service operations with the company's strategic goals.
- Client Engagement & Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, understanding their strategic and operational needs. Ensure exceptional client satisfaction through proactive communication and reliable service delivery.
- Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to optimize service delivery processes, reduce inefficiencies, and enhance overall performance. Stay ahead of industry trends, implementing best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
- Resource Planning & KPI Management: Monitor and manage resource allocation to meet service demand and maintain utilization targets. Provide accurate forecasting and capacity planning to align with business growth.
- Reporting & Metrics: Deliver regular performance reports to senior management, covering KPIs, engineer utilization, and client satisfaction metrics. Identify and address performance gaps, recommending strategies for improvement.
- Experience: 10+ years in IT/network engineering, including 4+ years in a leadership role within professional and managed services. Proven ability to manage teams, ensuring high utilization and effective service delivery.
- Management Skills: Strong expertise in managing professional services and managed services operations. Proficient in resource planning, utilization tracking, and process optimization.
- Technical Expertise: Advanced knowledge of enterprise network solutions and services. Experienced in delivering complex technical network solutions across LAN, WLAN, Data Centre Networks & SD WAN.
- Certifications & Frameworks: ITIL V3 Foundation certified, with a deep understanding of service management best practices. Project management experience is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional client management and relationship-building abilities. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Other Requirements: Eligibility for SC Clearance (desirable). Valid UK Driving License and Passport.
