Key Responsibilities
- Network Support & Maintenance: Provide day-to-day support for enterprise network environments, ensuring optimal performance and security.
Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Cisco Routing & Switching, LAN, WLAN, and firewall technologies.
- Incident Management: Act as the first point of escalation for network issues, diagnosing and resolving complex incidents efficiently to meet SLAs.
- Supporting the latest Software Defined Networking technologies from key vendors
- Network Projects: Opportunity to assist with Network Consultants and Architects on occasional project work
Skills & Experience Required
To thrive as a Network Support Engineer, you’ll need
- Working to a CCNP level, with hands-on experience in Cisco Routing & Switching environments.
- Strong knowledge of LAN, WLAN, and firewall technologies (including configuration and troubleshooting).
- Familiarity with network security principles and firewall management.
- Experience with enterprise-level networks and protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical staff.
- A desire for continuous learning and staying up to date with networking technologies.
