The Role
As a Senior Security Engineer, you will lead the end‑to‑end on‑site installation of commercial security projects across London.
This is a heavily installation‑focused role (with occasional servicing) where your technical expertise, eye for detail, and leadership skills will directly impact high‑value, high‑pressure environments.
Key Responsibilities
- End‑to‑End Installation: Deliver large‑scale commercial security projects from 2nd fix through to completion, working alongside a talented team of senior engineers.
- Hands‑on Expertise: Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot CCTV and Access Control systems.
- Quality Control: Maintain an exceptional standard of on‑site quality control – no cutting corners.
- Mentorship: Guide and support junior engineers on‑site to help them develop their skills.
- Client Liaison: Represent the business professionally and with total discretion when interacting with high‑profile clients.
Skills & Experience
- You are a seasoned engineer who takes immense pride in your craft, operates autonomously, and thrives in high‑end environments.
- 5‑10 years of experience working on Prime/Super Prime residential or high‑end commercial projects.
- Extensive hands‑on expertise with industry‑standard CCTV & Access Control systems.
- Solid 2nd fix installation skills, including the termination and testing of Cat 5 & Cat 6 cabling.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to mentor junior team members.
- Any software‑specific security configuration experience is a major plus.
