The Opportunity
We’re working with a high-growth professional services organisation delivering advanced networking solutions to enterprise customers across the UK. They are looking for a Senior Network Engineer with strong design and implementation expertise in Cisco SD-WAN (Catalyst / Viptela) to join their expanding team. This is a customer-facing role where you’ll play a key part in delivering complex network transformation projects.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing and implementing Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN (Viptela) solutions for enterprise clients
- Leading end-to-end project delivery (HLD/LLD through to deployment)
- Working closely with customers to understand requirements and provide technical consultancy
- Supporting migration from traditional WAN to SD-WAN architectures
- Ensuring best practice across security, resilience and performance
- Occasionally visiting customer sites (approx. 10%)
What We’re Looking For
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Enterprise routing & switching (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPNs)
- Design + implementation (not just support)
- Working in professional services / customer-facing environments
- Nice to have
- Cisco certifications (CCNP / CCIE)
- Experience with security or cloud networking (Azure / AWS)
