The Company

This is a founder-led technology services provider and long-standing technology consultancy, delivering enterprise networking, voice and collaboration, EUC, security and smart building solutions to organisations across healthcare, education and enterprise. The business has built its reputation on major, business-critical infrastructure programmes and a client base that stays put. Driven by continued growth, they're expanding the sales function and looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to win, grow and retain enterprise accounts.

This isn't a cold-start BDM role where you're left to fend for yourself. You'll be armed with genuinely compelling lead magnets and door openers - free network assessments, AI-readiness reviews, funded proof-of-concept engagements and marketing-led campaigns designed to get you in front of senior stakeholders - plus a dedicated SDR working your market. This is a mature business with real delivery capability behind it, not a reseller chasing volume, and the sales team is supported accordingly.

As Business Development Manager - Enterprise Networks, you'll work with Marketing and your own dedicated SDR to win and retain enterprise accounts, build and manage a healthy pipeline, and grow recurring revenue across the core portfolio through consultative, strategic sales.

  • Win new logo enterprise accounts, then retain and grow them - this is a win-and-keep role, not a land-and-move-on role
  • Build pipeline from the ground up using the company's lead magnets and door openers - network assessments, AI-readiness reviews and marketing-driven campaigns - alongside your own targeted outbound
  • Manage your pipeline with commercial discipline: accurate forecasting, structured qualification and clear next steps on every opportunity
  • Take ownership of business development activity within a targeted market, selling managed service and professional service engagements
  • Grow MRR and expand footprint across Enterprise Networking, Cloud Services, EUC, Voice, Security, Smart Buildings and emerging AI capability
  • Lead complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals end to end, from early engagement through to close
  • Work alongside pre-sales architects, delivery teams and professional services consultants who engage early and stay involved
  • Build outcome-led propositions that combine technical capability with clear commercial value
  • Develop trusted, long-term relationships at senior stakeholder level to drive retention and account growth
  • Support your dedicated SDR with target mapping and messaging
  • Work with Marketing to define the strategy, campaigns and door openers for your market
  • Play a key part in shaping the Enterprise Sales Team and mentoring the next generation of sales professionals

Your Skills & Experience

  • Proven track record as a Business Development Manager, Enterprise Network Account Manager, Senior Enterprise Network Sales professional or similar new business role
  • Experience selling enterprise network managed services and professional services
  • Demonstrable success winning new logo accounts, then retaining and growing them
  • Experience building pipeline through a mix of marketing-generated leads, campaigns and self-generated outbound
  • Structured pipeline management and forecasting discipline
  • Experience working with senior-level stakeholders, taking them through discovery and proposal
  • Demonstrable success taking customers through consultative, strategic sales engagements
  • Comfortable managing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals with long sales cycles
  • Able to sell across Enterprise Networking, Cloud Services, EUC, Voice, Security and Smart Buildings, and articulate how they combine to deliver business outcomes
  • Desirable: Juniper and Cisco ecosystem experience; exposure to AI-enabled infrastructure or smart building solutions would be beneficial

Company Benefits

  • Exceptional commission structure (100% - 200% uplift)
  • Company pension
  • Modern Central London office
  • Structured career progression within a growing enterprise sales function
