Overview
We are seeking a customer-facing Principal Network Consultant to lead engagements across the full lifecycle from pre-sales solution shaping through architecture & design, to delivery governance and technical assurance. This is not an operations-only role. You will act as a trusted technical advisor, working closely with customers, sales, and delivery teams to design secure, scalable network and security solutions and ensure they are successfully implemented. You will bridge the gap between:
- Business requirements
- Solution architecture
- Technical delivery
Your Role
You will own the end-to-end technical lifecycle of network and security engagements. From discovery workshops and solution design to implementation oversight and transition into support, you'll ensure solutions are:
- Fit for purpose
- Secure by design
- Scalable
- Deliverable
What You'll Be Doing
- Pre-Sales & Solution Leadership
- Act as technical lead in customer engagements and discovery workshops
- Translate business and operational needs into solution architectures
- Support RFPs, proposals, and solution positioning
- Provide technical assurance during bid and pursuit stages
- Shape network and security strategy with customers
- Architecture & Design
- Design enterprise network and security solutions across:
- LAN / Campus
- WLAN
- Network Access Control
- Segmentation
- Secure Internet Access
- Software-defined networking
- Produce:
- HLDs / LLDs
- Migration strategies
- Implementation roadmaps
- Security design principles
- Design with operational supportability in mind
- Provide technical governance during implementation
- Guide engineering teams through complex deployments
- Act as escalation point during project delivery
- Ensure solutions align with architecture and customer intent
- Support transition into BAU / managed service
