Our client is a global leader in the design and manufacture of closure liners and flexible packaging for food, beverage, pharmaceutical, health care, personal care, household and industrial applications.
About the Position
The machine operator role is part of the client production team and will work on machines allocated by the shift supervisor. The operator will run the machines, following the planned production schedule, on a shift rotation.
Position Responsibilities
- Operating all machinery in an efficient and safe manner.
- Running and maintaining the production of extrusion and coating lamination, including printing, ensuring all safety and quality procedures are followed whilst remaining on track with the production plan.
- Slitting material produced from the laminators and extrusion machines into tapes as per the customer requirement, following strict quality procedures.
- Operate all production lines, after appropriate training.
- Support and help in the cross-training of other team members.
- Covering holiday and sick leave.
- Process the material through the ERP Styeline system.
- Ensuring that all company driven SOPs and instructions are followed.
- Making sure all codes used in Syteline are accurate and correct.
