This is a hands-on outbound sales development role, responsible for generating qualified sales opportunities for the Business Development team through targeted prospecting, lead qualification and high-quality meeting booking. As Sales Development Representative, you will act as one of the first points of contact with prospective advice firms. You will identify target firms, research decision makers, engage prospects by phone, email and LinkedIn, understand their current challenges and qualify opportunities that can be progressed to Business Development Consultants.
The role sits within the Marketing and Demand Generation team, reporting to the Head of Demand Generation, but will work closely with Business Development, Sales, Product Marketing and Campaigns. This is important because the SDR function connects marketing activity, outbound prospecting and sales pipeline creation. The successful candidate will help turn campaign interest, target account insight and outbound activity into measurable sales opportunities.
This role is particularly suited to someone early in their sales career who is motivated by targets, resilient on the phone, curious about the financial advice market and excited by the opportunity to build a career in B2B SaaS, fintech or financial services sales.
