The Role: Unified Communications Engineer
Location: Bristol
Salary: £25K – £35K DOE

Our client is a well-established business with exceptional expertise in Hosted VoIP Phone Systems, Business Mobile, Business Broadband, MDM Solutions, etc. As result of continuous growth and expansion, the business has an opportunity for an experienced Unified Communications Engineer to join them on a full-time permanent basis. As an integral member of the support team, you will be highly motivated to resolve customer queries instantly through a proactive and conscientious approach. Your Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional technical customer support across a wide range of business telecoms, business internet, mobile products, etc.
- Be the first point of contact for customer queries, diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Assist customers in configuring equipment.
- Enhance the customer experience by focusing on 1 st time resolutions not average talk times.
- Collaborate with other members of the technical team to design and deliver bespoke solutions to customer specifications.
- Assisting with system updates and upgrades with minimal impact on the production environment when required.
- Ensure all queries are captured accurately and documentation is kept up to date.
Your Skills & Experience:
- Prior experience in a service desk role as a Telecoms Support Engineer.
- Familiar with ticketing platform such as Zendesk.
- Customer-centric approach with 2 years’ experience in a customer service environment.
- Proactive nature with a can-do attitude.
- Successful stakeholder management ability.
- Strong commercial awareness to identify new business opportunities.
- Versatile and adaptable UC Support Engineer with the ability to prioritise and manage your workload.
