Role Overview

The Senior Executive, Technical, Training & Warranty plays a key support role in workshop operations, bringing together technical expertise, structured training delivery, and warranty compliance management across multiple automotive franchises. This position works closely with internal teams, dealer networks, and vehicle principals to uphold service quality, operational efficiency, and technical standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver technical, product, and warranty training programmes for technicians, service advisors, and dealer network staff.
  • Conduct foundational soft-skills, product, and technical training for frontline service staff across internal operations and dealer networks.
  • Provide second-level technical diagnostics and troubleshooting support to workshops, resolving complex issues and reducing vehicle downtime.
  • Serve as a technical liaison to workshop floor operations, including conducting or coordinating test drives to verify customer-reported concerns.
  • Support day-to-day operations by coordinating with internal and external stakeholders on procurement of workshop tools, lubricants, and equipment, as well as resolving workshop IT-related matters.
  • Manage and maintain administrative documentation for technical, training, warranty, and recall submissions to vehicle principals.
  • Conduct warranty audits to ensure full compliance with principal standards, procedures, and claim requirements.
  • Provide professional technical guidance to front reception and customer service teams when required.

What We're Looking For

  • Diploma or above in Automotive Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a technical or supervisory role within the automotive industry.
  • Strong diagnostic ability with the capacity to explain technical issues clearly to varied audiences.
  • Confident and professional when engaging with customers and internal stakeholders on technical matters.
