We are a growing company operating in the UK’s most exciting growth sectors: Solar Energy and Fibre Infrastructure. As we scale our operations and take on larger infrastructure rollouts, we are looking for a technically proficient Accountant to join our Radlett-based finance team. This is a vital role for someone who loves the detail of project accounting and wants to be part of a business that is building the UK’s future green and digital landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Costing: Take full ownership of site-specific costs, analyzing project margins and variances using Business Central Dimensions.
- CIS & Compliance: Act as the day-to-day lead on CIS returns, subcontractor verifications, and the correct application of Domestic Reverse Charge VAT.
- Management Accounts: Support the production of monthly management accounts, ensuring the technical accuracy of all project-related data.
- System Excellence: Maintain the integrity of our Business Central (D365) system, ensuring every site cost is tracked and allocated correctly.
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified or Finalist: ACCA/CIMA Qualified or a Finalist with strong technical experience.
- Construction Experience: Essential. You must have a background in a project-heavy or subcontractor-heavy environment.
- Systems Savvy: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (or NAV) is a significant advantage.
- Detail-Oriented: A specialist who enjoys ensuring every cost is accounted for and every compliance box is ticked.
