Dynamic CCTV is looking for 2 business development managers, one in each of the following regions: Scotland and South Wales/South West.
Hours: 40 hours / week, Mon – Fri
Wage: Negotiable
Duration: Permanent position with a 6-month probationary period
The Organisation: Dynamic CCTV Limited is the UK's largest Hikvision Distributor with 28 years of industry knowledge, award-winning technical support, customer service and product knowledge. Dynamic CCTV Limited has a vast international network of suppliers, with its headquarters located in the centre of Middlesbrough, North Yorkshire. Due to rapid growth and large expansion, Dynamic CCTV are currently recruiting for 2 Business Development Managers in the following regions: Scotland and South Wales/South West. The successful candidates will need to be located within those regions.
Job Purpose: You will work primarily on the road and be responsible for planning and organising your day-to-day activities which will include managing and retaining existing key accounts; generating, developing and following up on new customer accounts and business opportunities; responding to leads or enquiries from the internal sales team and providing product information at company events, exhibitions and roadshows. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with existing and new customers.
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
- A key focus on retention and management of key accounts;
- Identifying new business opportunities including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers and products;
- Seek out appropriate contacts in an organisation;
- Planning and preparing presentations;
- Communicating new product developments to prospective clients;
- Generate leads and prospective customers and follow up on those accounts;
- Meet with customers/clients face to face and over the phone;
- Understand the needs of customers and be able to respond effectively;
- Respond to leads or enquiries from the internal sales team;
- Provide product information at company events, exhibitions and roadshows;
- Liaise with the finance team and internal sales department as appropriate;
- Effectively plan day to day activities;
- Writing reports - weekly summary, Business Plan and territory reviews;
- Build and develop relationships with suppliers' external sales team;
- Database management.
Role Requirements:
- Tenacity and drive to retain existing customers; seek new business and meet or exceed targets;
- An excellent telephone manner for making initial contact and for ongoing communication with customers;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills needed for communicating with a wide range of people, both internally and externally;
- Good IT skills;

- Good decision-making skills;
- Excellent organisational skills/time management/planning;
- Good networking skills;
- Ability to think strategically;
- Ability to analyse sales figures and write reports;
- A full UK driving licence;
- Ability to work with CRM and Pan intelligence packages.
