DYN-Metal, specialist bronze and brass founders and machinists with over 80 years of experience, have a vacancy for a CNC Operator, Setter and Programmer at its Park Royal CNC workshop. DYN-Metal produces bronze and brass bearings for customers’ sliding wear applications and operates a fully functional CNC machine shop with the most up to date Yamazaki Mazak and DMG Mori Seiki turning and milling machines.
The ideal candidate would be required to work primarily on their own, using their own initiative and abilities to set, operate and programme a CNC turning machine, producing finished parts to tight geometric and isometric tolerances. The ideal candidate we require would have:
- Experience in working in a CNC machine shop to tight tolerances
- Mazatrol experience is essential. Other control experience desirable but not essential.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and program using Mazatrol software.
- Ability to use various types of measuring equipment.
- Experience of small batch work an advantage
