An exciting opportunity has arisen to join us as a Fleet Technician in the Fleet Services Department. Please note that the base location for this role is Carmarthen Headquarters. This role is also being advertised as a separate vacancy in Newtown. Please ensure that you submit an application against the correct location you wish to be considered for.
What you will be doing?
- To service, repair, diagnose and commission Fleet vehicles in an efficient and timely manner, supporting operational policing and departmental requirements.
Role Specific Tasks:
- To service and repair Force vehicles to meet MOT and Dyfed Powys Police standards.
- To fabricate and repair vehicles and install specialist electronic equipment to meet operational requirements.
- To commission and decommission vehicles so the Fleet standards are maintained.
