Responsibilities

  • Undertake sickness absence consultations for Police officers and Police Staff; formulate management reports and rehabilitation programmes.
  • Triage Occupational Health referrals and assign to the Occupational Health Adviser (OHA), Force Medical Adviser (FMA) or other specialist advisers.
  • Liaise with the Occupational Health Manager on all aspects of Occupational Health and maintain knowledge of changes to national standards and legislation affecting the Police Service.

Working Pattern

Full‑time, 37 hours per week. Typically 3 days on site at Carmarthen Police Headquarters and 2 days working from home. Some flexibility for events, meetings, training or CPD days required.
