The role of Crime & Intelligence Analyst supports the Forces Tasking and Coordination processes by providing insights into community issues, developing strategic insights for senior leaders, and delivering tactical analytical capability for major crime, serious and organised crime investigations, intelligence development, and problem‑solving tactics across operational policing.
Responsibilities
- Provide insights into community issues to support Forces Tasking and Coordination.
- Develop strategic insights for senior leaders.
- Deliver tactical analytical capability for major crime, serious and organised crime investigations.
- Produce and disseminate intelligence products at local, Force and regional levels.
- Utilise analytical techniques to support problem‑solving tactics across operational policing.
