Company Description
We are a family owned and run national haulage company, with 4 depots across the UK and our Head Office in Dyce, Aberdeen. We are looking for a reliable & trustworthy Senior Finance Administrator to join our team. This is a key role within our finance and administration department, ensuring smooth day-to-day financial operations and supporting the wider office team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone highly organised, detail focused and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversight of the purchase ledger process
- Entry of supplier purchase invoices into Sage
- Processing of daily sales invoices
- Weekly processing of staff wages
- Monthly processing of PAYE
- Daily bank reconciliations
- Recording and administering staff holiday sheets
- Supporting the Office Manager with general administrative and financial tasks
- Performing general finance-related administrative duties as required
Requirements
- Proven experience in an admin role β essential
- Strong working knowledge of Sage accounting software β essential
- Understanding of payroll processes, PAYE, and purchase/sales ledger
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small office team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information
