DXP Talent has an exciting opportunity for a 3rd Line Engineer to join a newly formed Group IT Function for an expanding business. Based on-site at offices near Bucklebury, the 3rd Line Engineer will be the dedicated on-site Engineer supporting circa 150 users. Although primarily supporting a Hybrid Infrastructure (Wintel and Azure), there will be an element of end user support, project delivery, and also supporting VIPs.
The role would suit someone with an all-round skill set focused on supporting On-Prem Infrastructure (Windows, VMs, Storage, Backups, Networks) and who has a few years of Azure experience as the entire estate will be migrated into Azure in the near future. Day to day, the role will be providing BAU Support but you will also be involved in/leading projects such as refreshes, upgrades, and Azure migrations.
The role is based on-site but can offer flexibility, and there will be occasional visits to Southampton and other offices.
Experience:- 3rd Line Engineer (5 years experience)
- Windows Server
- VMware/Hyper V
- Storage, Backups
- Networks (Cisco Switches/Routers/Firewalls)
- Windows 11/End user Support
- O365 (Entra, Intune/MDM)
- Managing Azure Platforms (Azure VMs, Azure AD/Entra, Exchange Online)
- AVD/Citrix
