IT Apprentice Bicester (5 days a week on-site) 2 year Placement Salary TBC

We are working with a well known business in Bicester who are looking for their next IT Apprentice.

This is an amazing opportunity to join a leading brand and start your career in IT Support.

The opportunity offers the chance to learn and develop skills in IT Service Desk whilst also completing weekly online learning which, upon completion/passing will lead to achieving a recognised certification.

The role is a 2 year placement and based on the success of previous Apprentices, there could be the opportunity to move into a permanent role at the end of the Apprenticeship subject to demonstrating the right skills and attitude.

Given the nature of the role being on-site, you are expected to be reliable and able to get to work each day.

There is parking on site, a train station close by and also public transport available.

Day to day: Provide first-line IT support via telephone, email and in person.

Log, categorise and prioritise incidents and service requests using the IT Service Management (ITSM) system.

Troubleshoot hardware, software and basic network issues.

Escalate complex issues to second or third-line support teams when appropriate.

Install, configure and maintain desktop and laptop hardware.

Support Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
