DXP Talent is hiring for a Data Migration and Customer Onboarding Specialist to join a market leading business in Reading. The Data Migration and Customer Onboarding Specialist will primarily be involved in migrating new customer's data across from their existing products into our clients software and supporting the customer with all aspects on onboarding. The role involves a lot of customer interaction as well being 'spreadsheet heavy' so ideal candidates will have a strong background in working in data migration of critical information alongside great communication skills and be comfortable with customer interactions/client facing meetings. You'll be based in Reading 2 to 3 days a week.

Your specific responsibilities:

  • Support new and existing customers and their onboarding of data
  • Perform data mapping and manage complex datasets with high level of attention to detail
  • Migrate customers data into our preferred format
  • Coordinate and receive inputs needed from both customers and internal stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate customer records
  • Resolve issues directly or bring in other internal resources to ensure all customer issues are resolved to the customers satisfaction in a timely and careful manner
  • Stay current with system changes and updates
  • Work closely with customer success, product, and other internal team leads to improve customer experience

What we'd like to see in the ideal candidate:

  • 4+ years experience in data/implementation-focused role involving support of SaaS or professional web-based solutions
  • High proficiency in Excel (sorting/filtering, Vlookups)
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and project management skills (managing multiple data migrations at once)
  • Fast learner - you'll need to learn and understand the products quickly.
