DXP Talent is hiring for a 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer to join an International Engineering Business in Harrogate. This is an exciting role that offers a lot of autonomy and the chance to shape the future direction of IT across the business whilst also providing a mix of BAU and Project Support (including ongoing Cyber Essentials).
Day to day, the 3rd Line Engineer will be managing the on-prem Network Infrastructure whilst also being heavily involved in delivering projects. Our client is constantly growing by acquisition so you'll be involved in the capacity planning ahead of these acquisitions to ensure the Infrastructure can support the new additions or make provisions so that it can. The role will also require monthly/bi-monthly travel to Ireland to support ongoing/new Business Acquisitions.
The successful candidate will need to be able to manage their own workload and schedule site visits when required to carry out project work in different sites (when needed) and feedback to the business about the future direction of IT and how to improve the existing environment.
Experience is required with the following:
- Windows Server
- Hyper VM
- 365 (Entra, Exchange etc), Domain/Tenant migrations
- Network Support (Firewalls, Switches - configurations)
- VLANs
- Storage
- Backups
- Cyber Essentials
