DXP Talent is hiring for an IT Project Coordinator/Project Manager to support IT integration across different public sector bodies as part of a Local Government Reorganisation (LGR).

The role is to coordinate and support the structured integration and alignment of several IT environments in line with the LGR - mainly across Infrastructure and Networks. You will provide programme-level coordination across internal IT workstreams and cross-council forums, actively managing risks, dependencies, milestones and documentation associated with IT integration activity.

The role will ensure that alignment decisions are clearly recorded, technically informed and appropriately governed. Working closely with senior IT leadership and technical specialists, the Project Coordinator will support the development of target-state IT environment for the new authority, while protecting ongoing service stability and cyber security posture.

Although this isn't a technical role, candidates should have an understanding of technologies relating to IT Infrastructure and M365 and ideally a background in migrations, integrations or mergers and acquisitions. The position is 4 days a week and offers hybrid, flexible working. There will be a need at times to travel to different sites for meetings so having access to a car is desirable.
