We are currently looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to support one of our clients based on-site in Southampton. This is a full-time position working a 37.5-hour week Monday to Friday. The ideal candidate will be required to have a flexible approach as overtime and on-call duties may be required. Due to the nature of our client's work, the successful candidate will need to be eligible to obtain SC Security Clearance and this will require a sole UK national.
Responsibilities:
- Desktop / Laptop / VDI build, configuration, deployment to end users
- Software installation / deployment
- Asset and peripheral deployments
- In-depth investigation into issues
- Work as part of a support team with laptop, desktop and VDI terminals support calls
- Hardware installation / upgrade / break fix for desktop, laptop, and server
- Smartphone support (Android)
