TYPE: Permanent, Full-time (37.5 hours per week)

Velonetic represents the joint ventures between DXC Technology, the International Underwriting Association (IUA), and Lloyd’s of London. Processing over £101 billion in premium and claims transactions, we are building a new digital platform and services to help customers move transactions and money through the processing lifecycle more efficiently freeing up time for innovation and higher-value activities.

Job Overview

We have a fantastic opportunity for an individual with strong operational understanding. The Team Manager is responsible for achieving production targets through the smooth and efficient operation of their team. This role requires strong leadership, interpersonal, and customer relationship skills, alongside excellent organisation and prioritisation abilities. You will need to adapt to changing demands and ensure all work meets agreed service levels for quality and turnaround times. Full training will be provided on all required insurance documentation and systems.

What you will be doing

  • Forecast workloads and resource requirements using ControliQ methodology to drive performance improvement
  • Maintain accurate records of time allocation and diverted activities
  • Monitor in-day performance against work plans
  • Manage workflow by distributing work effectively and reprioritising where needed
  • Produce and maintain a balanced capacity plan aligned to business needs
  • Collaborate with colleagues to resolve capacity challenges
  • Support quality, control, and compliance standards, including ISAE audit controls
  • Conduct regular 1:1s and performance reviews (PDRs)
  • Coach and develop team members, identifying and addressing training needs
  • Manage absence in line with company policy
  • Deliver team briefings on daily, weekly, and monthly priorities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers
  • Support change and innovation initiatives

  • Experience managing a team (insurance/London Market experience desirable)
