This role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sustainability Manager who will lead and shape DXC’s UK & Ireland sustainability agenda, ensuring commitments are embedded across strategy, operations, and customer delivery.

The role sits at the intersection of sustainability, technology and social value and, working closely with the Global ESG team, the UKI Social Value team, and customer teams, will ensure DXC meets government sustainability requirements while influencing how sustainability is embedded into services, operations and customer propositions.

You will be responsible for ESG reporting, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder engagement, while collaborating with the Social Value team to shape impactful, measurable initiatives. Your work will influence sustainable delivery practices across technology, operations, and supply chains, and support high‑quality bids. This role requires someone who can translate sustainability ambition into practical action, strengthening our credibility and helping DXC lead conversations on sustainable technology and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of DXC’s UK&I sustainability strategy and roadmap
  • Manage UKI sustainability compliance and reporting
  • Stay ahead of ESG trends, policy changes and regulatory developments that impact DXC and our customers
  • Partner with the Social Value team to design and deliver measurable environmental and social value commitments, ensuring they are realistic and measurable
  • Provide sustainability input into bids, proposals, and customer engagements
  • Collaborate with technology and operations teams to embed sustainable practices into delivery models
  • Engage internal and external stakeholders to drive awareness, alignment, and continuous improvement
  • Promote a strong sustainability culture through engagement, communications and enablement

What You’ll Bring:

  • Strong understanding of public sector sustainability requirements, including reporting frameworks and procurement standards
  • Experience managing ESG reporting, governance, and compliance in a complex or regulated environment
  • Ability to interpret and work with sustainability and ESG data, metrics, and performance indicators
  • Knowledge of social value frameworks and experience delivering social impact initiatives
  • Technical understanding of how sustainability integrates with technology, operations, and service delivery
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • A proactive, analytical mindset with the ability to drive measurable outcomes
