We are currently looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to support one of our clients on‑site in Southampton. This is a full‑time position working a 37.5‑hour week Monday to Friday. The ideal candidate will be required to have a flexible approach as overtime and on‑call duties may be required. Due to the nature of our client’s work the successful candidate will need to be eligible to obtain SC Security Clearance.

Responsibilities:

  • Desktop / Laptop / VDI build, configuration, deployment to end users
  • Software installation / deployment
  • Asset and peripheral deployments
  • In‑depth investigation into issues
  • Work as part of a support team with laptop, desktop and VDI terminals support calls
  • Hardware installation / upgrade / break‑fix for desktop, laptop, and server
  • Smartphone support (Android & iOS)
