At DXC we have a long-established partnership with a Major UK High Street Bank, where we manage their personal lending business. We provide support to customers and colleagues, contacting us with financial enquiries and requests about their loan account. We also provide support to our client’s loan product finance team.

What are we looking for in our Finance and Processing Advisors?
- Sociable, helpful and eager to provide excellent service to customers.
- A good eye for detail, ensuring customer records are kept up to date and are accurate.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring defined processes are followed.
- Excellent Excel, Word & Email skills.
- Keen to take responsibility for managing customer information in line with GDPR.
- Experience of working with computer systems.
This role involves processing customer loan documentation sent to us and dealing with these in accordance with our standard operating processes. Supporting our Customer Service colleagues when seeking support for customer enquiries of a more technical financial nature. Bookkeeping experience is needed, and general ledger experience is advantageous as the role also involves:
- Applying payments to customer loan accounts
- Supporting our Customer Financial Assistance teams with accounts where customer is in financial difficulties (e.g. freezing interest, changing repayment schedule, managing arrears)
- Responding to technical financial queries received from internal colleagues as well as other client teams
- Completing regular General Ledger reconciliations e.g. cash movement.
- Liaising with our client’s Finance team to provide trial balance and other required reconciliation data and reports.
A Team Player who enjoys collaborating with team mates to deliver that outstanding customer service together, and working together to identify continuous improvement ideas. And through all this achieve core Key Performance Indicators.
Work Environment:
The role is an office based one working on our site at Cobalt Business Park, Mercury House. There is the possibility of Hybrid working after the first 6 months. Induction training is for a period of 1-week classroom-based induction/overview, and then on the job training.
We try to have fun, with quizzes, competitions and challenges where we raise funds for our chosen charities/good causes. Your working hours will be between 8am – 6pm, Monday to Friday as well as 1 Saturday a month between 9am – 2pm, with a shorter shift during the week you are on this rotation.
