One of our platinum accounts has openings for PaaS System Administrators for varying skill levels. The successful candidate will work within a small team which will require a good level of knowledge on DevOps engineering methodologies and that is comfortable working within a cloud development environment. Your role will include:
- Implementing standards, policies, and procedures for continual service improvement.
- Providing first and second level technical support on incidents and problems.
- Monitoring overall system performance and ensuring smooth system functionality.
- Assisting in building compliance with our processes and policies.
- Working to ITIL best practices.
- Taking a proactive approach towards looking for risks and problems.
- Adapting quickly and working in an agile fashion.
- Hands-on production experience on Linux, OpenShift.
- Good knowledge on Linux, Kubernetes and OpenShift.
- OpenShift monitoring and writing custom alerting using Prometheus Alertmanager.
- Experience with maintaining Dell PowerEdge Servers.
