We are looking for a passionate, motivated, innovative UK based MECM subject matter expert with a strong technical aptitude and thirst for learning and problem solving, who would like to be part of our vision in helping clients transform their business. Candidates must be UK Nationals with eligibility for SC/DV clearance. This is a hybrid role and can be based from our Erskine, Newcastle or Farnborough Sites.
Primary Responsibilities- Serve as the technical lead and SME for SCCM/MECM infrastructure across all environments.
- Design, deploy, and manage SCCM components including software distribution, OS deployment, patch management, and compliance settings.
- Maintain and optimize the SCCM infrastructure including boundary groups, distribution points, and site servers.
- Create and manage task sequences for Windows OS deployment and upgrade scenarios.
- Develop and deploy applications and packages via SCCM to workstations and servers.
- Integrate SCCM with other technologies such as Microsoft Intune, Azure AD, and Defender for Endpoint.
- Monitor system health, generate reports, and provide metrics for endpoint compliance and system updates.
- Troubleshoot SCCM client installation and communication issues.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, technical procedures, and SOPs.
- Ensure compliance with internal security policies and industry best practices.
- Provide knowledge transfer and mentorship to junior team members and support staff.
- Proven experience of working with SCCM/MECM in an enterprise environment.
- Strong expertise in all aspects of SCCM including application deployment, patching, and OSD.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and task automation.
- Solid understanding of Windows client/server environments (Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2016+).
- Experience with Intune and co-management scenarios is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy, WSUS, and Windows Update for Business.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with hybrid environments (on-prem and cloud integration).
- Knowledge of endpoint security best practices and tools.
- Experience with ITIL or other service management frameworks.
- UK national SC Cleared, and eligible for DV clearance.
- Confident in delivering high level technical representation of issues; including conference calls and handling of technical resolution.
- Experience collaborating with 3rd party vendors and customers.
