DXC Technology is looking for an exceptional Client Success Manager to lead one of our most strategic Aerospace & Defence accounts within Consulting & Engineering Services in the UK. This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who thrives on building strong client relationships, driving growth, leading complex transformation, and owning commercial performance. You will take full accountability for the account’s P&L, growth strategy, client engagement, delivery oversight, and long-term success.

This is far more than account management. It is an opportunity to shape a major client relationship, expand DXC’s position across Consulting Engineering, Applications, Digital Engineering, and transformation services, and establish yourself as a trusted strategic partner at the most senior levels of the client organisation.

Why this role stands out

This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior, visible, and commercially important leadership role within DXC’s Aerospace & Defence business. You will be responsible for growing a complex account with real scale and strategic importance, while working with senior client stakeholders on some of their most significant engineering and technology priorities. For the right person, this role offers the chance to influence a major transformation agenda, lead a high-performing team, and play a defining role in one of DXC’s priority growth areas.

What you’ll be doing

  • You will own the overall success of the account — commercially, strategically, and operationally.
  • Your focus will include:
    • Leading the account strategy and building a clear, multi-year growth plan
    • Owning full P&L performance, including revenue, margin, forecast accuracy, and contract success
    • Expanding DXC’s presence across Consulting Engineering, Applications modernisation, Digital Engineering, Data, AI, and related services
    • Building strong, trusted relationships with C-suite, engineering, technology, and programme leadership stakeholders
    • Identifying whitespace, shaping new opportunities, and converting pipeline into growth
    • Overseeing major transformation programmes and ensuring strong governance, quality, and commercial discipline
    • Leading and developing a high-performing account team across consulting, delivery, solutioning, and commercial functions
    • Positioning DXC as a long-term strategic transformation partner rather than a delivery supplier

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for a senior leader who combines commercial strength, client credibility, and transformation experience. Candidates are required to be UK Nationals with eligibility for clearance.

You will bring:

  • Strong experience in Consulting Engineering, Applications, or technology-led services
  • Proven P&L ownership across complex accounts or business units
  • A strong track record of growing strategic client relationships and winning new work
  • Experience leading or overseeing large-scale transformation programmes in complex, regulated environments
  • A strong blend of sales, consulting, and delivery leadership
  • The confidence and credibility to engage at Board, CIO, CTO, Chief Engineer, and Programme Director level
  • Experience in Aerospace & Defence, or closely related highly regulated, mission-critical environments
  • The leadership capability to build, inspire, and develop senior, high-performing teams

Why Aerospace & Defence?

Aerospace & Defence clients operate in complex, highly regulated, and mission-critical environments. Success in this space requires a unique blend of strategic thinking, engineering credibility, long-term relationship building, commercial judgement, and delivery discipline. If you are energised by working in environments where complexity is high, expectations are demanding, and the opportunity to make a strategic impact is real, this is an exceptional role.

What success will look like

In this role, success means building a strong growth trajectory for the account while maintaining high standards of delivery and client confidence. You will strengthen DXC’s position with senior stakeholders, expand our footprint into new service areas, and create the conditions for sustained, profitable growth. You will also help shape a strong account culture — one that combines commercial ownership, delivery excellence, and client focus.

Career opportunity

This is one of DXC’s priority growth opportunities within Aerospace & Defence. Success in this role will create significant visibility and open a clear pathway into broader sector leadership, practice leadership, or major account leadership roles within DXC.

Why join DXC?

At DXC, you will have the opportunity to work on complex, meaningful transformation challenges with some of the most important clients in the market. You’ll join a business that values leadership, commercial thinking, collaboration, and the ability to make a difference at scale. If you’re looking for a role where you can shape strategy, grow an account, lead from the front, and build lasting client impact, we’d love to hear from you.

At DXC Technology, we believe strong connections and community are key to our success. Our work model prioritises in-person collaboration while offering flexibility to support wellbeing, productivity, individual work styles, and life circumstances. We’re committed to fostering an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive.
