The Role
As a Programme Planner, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality, integrated programme schedules that provide a single, reliable view of delivery progress. You will use evidence-based planning techniques to ensure clarity across milestones, dependencies, risks, and overall programme confidence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain integrated programme and project schedules using DXC standard planning tools
- Align milestones and deliverables with contractual commitments across the programme
- Monitor progress and produce insightful reporting, dashboards, and schedule analysis
- Manage baselines, stage gates, and change control in line with governance standards
- Facilitate planning workshops and collaborate closely with delivery teams, PMO, and senior stakeholders
- Identify and manage schedule risks, issues, and cross-workstream dependencies
- Continuously improve planning processes, tooling, and reporting capability
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in programme or portfolio planning within complex, multi-project environments
- Strong capability with planning and reporting tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, PowerBI, Excel)
- Knowledge of programme and project methodologies such as MSP, PRINCE2, and Agile
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work collaboratively across teams
